Pickling and preserving is both an economic and environmentally friendly way to maximise fruit and vegetable stocks. The Kilner® Preserving Starter Set contains all the components required to make jam, pickles, and chutneys, perfect for beginners or experienced preservers.

The 0.5 litre/500ml jars are the ideal size for decanting homemade creations. Featuring a 2-piece lid system which comprises of a tin disc and screw band ensuring a secure vacuum seal is achieved, keeping the contents fresher for longer.

Use the easy fill funnel to decant into the jars preventing spills and wastage along with the bubble remover which eliminates excess air bubbles that become trapped in the jar during filling, prior to the jars being sealed.

In the final stages of preserving and processing, the jar lifter allows you to move hot, full jars safely. White labels are provided to enable dates/contents and other details to be written and added to the jar.

The glass jar, bubble remover, and can be used in the dishwasher safe. The jar lifter, disc, and screw band should be hand washed only and dried immediately.

For Silver Service (Monthly), the cut-off will be by 5pm on the last Wednesday of the month.

For Gold Service (Weekly), the cut-off will be by 5pm each Wednesday.

Platinum orders are processed on the same day after your order is finalised, so no cut-off applies however we do ask that you complete your order within 24 hours of your invoice being sent to you to ensure your Platinum order is processed without delay. If we do not hear from you after 48 hours after we have sent your invoice, your order may be archived.

The cut-off date that applies to your order will be noted on your invoice. Please ensure you check-out and finalise your order prior to the cut-off time. If you miss the cut-off time, we can add your order to the next order date, however if we do not hear from you within 24 hours, your order will be archived and you will need to re-submit your order request.

We confirm stock availability before sending your invoice or order confirmation. Generally, we feature only products that have recently been in stock in Australia, and we regularly review availability. However, stock status can change without notice. If an item is out of stock, we will give you an estimated restock time.

We only accept pre-orders for products currently in stock in Australia. If your order is accepted and processed, we expect it to be delivered within the timeframe provided at the time of order confirmation. Occasionally, unforeseen issues like courier delays, accidental breakages, or fulfilment errors may arise that could impact the delivery. If any issues occur, we’ll inform you promptly and work with you to find a suitable solution.

While some orders may arrive sooner than expected, others may take a bit longer due to unexpected circumstances. Typically, orders arrive in-store 7-10 days after the cut-off date (Silver/Gold) or order confirmation date (Platinum). If your order is delayed, we’ll notify you immediately. If it is delayed by more than 7 days beyond the original estimated timeframe (provided at order confirmation), we will refund the convenience charge.
